A Sensationally Suave jazz vocalist - "The Young Man with The Old Soul” Marvin is an outstanding, rare, velvety-smooth baritone jazz vocalist with an enviable talent for entertaining and singing music that has melody at its very core. Marvin is attracting the sort of accolades you’d expect from a singer who is constantly performing at the highest level throughout the UK and beyond. A rich timbre, gorgeous rhythmic interpretation and a very fine trumpet player to boot! Marvin will be joined on stage by pianist & organist Anders Ollinder, bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Robert Brian.
Alan Bateman’s ’SATCHMO’ Quartet

One half of the critically acclaimed ‘Bateman Brothers’, Alan is the one who plays trumpet and sings exquisitely and - a very fine painter to boot!. He will bring his specially selected quartet to JazzIn’ Thame for a show that will feature the music of the great Louis Armstrong - featuring brilliant hits like Hello Dolly, Mack The Knife and What a Wonderful World. Alan has played with Acker Bilk, the Kenny Ball Legacy band and many others. He’s a multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, sax, clarinet, piano) and an accomplished jazz vocalist and he’ll lead the band through 90 minutes of truly fun, entertaining music. Alan’s rhythm section will comprise the effervescent Maff Potts on piano, bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Nick Millward.

Violin/piano/vocal maestro Ben Holder and his trio present something very special - their own interpretations of some of the greatest songs ever written, such as: Blackbird, Can’t Buy Me Love, Fool on The Hill, Eleanor Rigby, Hard Day’s Night and more. Ben plays violin and piano and sings, local jazz hero Jez Cook plays guitars, Paul Jefferies plays double bass and guitar and Nick Millward plays drums.

What’s certain is that Hannah is very talented singer who brims with confidence and a love for her craft. Hannah Brine makes her debut at our Thame venue with top pianist Dean Stockade, bassist Paul Jefferies and superb drummer Gaz Hughes.
